   Not spinning up – spindle dead stuck.

   Does not spin up with heads disconnected.
   Does not spin up with identical circuit board connected.
   This drive’s circuit board spins up an identical drive.
   Drive opened in clean room and spindle turned with turning tool – very stuck – so we’ll pass this on the the pro’s. Likely require a platter transplant.

   We will ship to the site/shop with best success rate with same problem on same model.

   It booted up, I selected file, closed the drive window, and tryed to open it again, the drive was not recognised. I pulled out the usb and put back, drive boots then gives that clinking sound (powers up then clicks powers up then clicks etc) More than likely control board,could have been dropt by my daughter. can u help???
